Due to financial constraints, the City of Oceanside no longer donates the services necessary to produce Oceanside’s Independence Parade. The City has agreed to provide these services at a cost of $8,100+. Additional expenses such as audio equipment, portable toilets and printing and mailing expenses will make it necessary to raise over $22,000 this year to produce the parade.

 

A group of concerned citizens has committed itself to raise these funds so that this longstanding Oceanside tradition may go on this year.

 

Oceanside’s Independence Parade will be produced under the auspices of the Main Street Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)3 corporation. Donations of $50.00 or more will be acknowledged in writing.
