Unlike a traditional food festival, Taste of Oceanside takes you inside the businesses themselves. Meet the people behind your favorite local spots, explore restaurants you've never visited before, chat with chefs and staff, and experience the personality of each location while enjoying exclusive tastings along the way.
With approximately 70 tasting stops, live music, local art, and themed Taste Hubs throughout downtown, there's something to discover around every corner.

Explore Downtown Oceanside one stop at a time, visiting restaurants, breweries, cafés, tasting rooms, and local businesses throughout the district. Every stop offers its own atmosphere, story, and signature bite or sip, creating an experience that's part food festival, part neighborhood exploration.
It's a chance to discover new favorites, revisit beloved local spots, and connect with the people who make Oceanside's culinary scene so vibrant.
Getting Around
Taste of Oceanside is designed to be explored on foot, but we've made getting around even easier.
A complimentary trolley will circulate throughout the event, helping guests travel between tasting districts so you can experience even more of what Downtown Oceanside has to offer.
An interactive event map with trolley stops, participating businesses, and featured Taste Hubs will be available before the event.

Want a behind-the-scenes look at one of Oceanside's signature events?
We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help with guest check-in, wayfinding, food and beverage serving, event support, and more. Volunteers make this event come to life and create an unforgettable experience for thousands of attendees.

Taste of Oceanside is an opportunity to introduce new customers to your business, build lasting relationships, and be part of one of Downtown Oceanside's most anticipated annual events.
Participation is open to restaurants, breweries, wineries, cafés, specialty food businesses, and select retailers offering food or beverage tastings.
Committed to Oceanside
Taste of Oceanside will continue to promote zero waste in Oceanside by giving a commemorative spork and reusable tasting cup to each attendee. Provided by event sponsor Green Oceanside, the commemorative Taste of Oceanside spork and branded cup will eliminate the addition of over 20,000 plastic items to the landfill.
"Taking Action for the Community and Planet"Green Oceanside is a city-run environmental campaign established to educate residents, businesses and visitors about how to be better stewards of the earth. Programs such as Zero Waste, Watershed Protection, and Water Efficiency provide opportunities for the public to actively protect and benefit the local environment.
