Established in 2001, the Main Street Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to revitalizing and enriching Downtown Oceanside through community-driven programs and events. As the philanthropic partner of MainStreet Oceanside, we invest in projects that boost economic development, beautify public spaces, and celebrate our city’s vibrant culture. Signature initiatives include Art that Excites, a public art program that transforms walls, alleyways, utility boxes, sidewalks, and other unexpected spaces into vibrant landmarks, and the beloved Oceanside Independence Parade, a family-friendly Fourth of July tradition that draws thousands of residents, visitors, and military families to our downtown streets.
