PRESENTS

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 2, 2021
2:00 pm to 5:00 pm
MORE SIPS, MORE TASTES, MORE MUSIC,
MORE FUN!
In order to make your check-in experience easier, please take a few minutes to review this information to save yourself some time on Saturday.
PARKING: We encourage you to park at the Civic Center parking garage (300 North Coast Highway). There are hundreds of free parking spaces available. Note that there are two entrances to the facility - one on Ditmar Street and one on Civic Center Drive. Look for our signs.
BIKE PARKING: There is an unattended bike corral one block from check-in at the corner of Pier View Way and North Tremont Street.
CHECK-IN: All participants will need to check in.
Check-in will be located at CIVIC CENTER PLAZA FOUNTAIN IN FRONT OF THE LIBRARY - 330 N. Coast Highway - just steps from where you parked (see above).
Each participant should be prepared to show photo ID at check-in.
At check-in you will receive your lanyard, map and spork. Beverage tasters will receive a wrist band and reusable cup.
CHECK IN OPENS AT 1:00 pm
TASTING STARTS AT 2:00 pm
Each paid ticket will receive a lanyard with a card that looks like this:

This will serve as your ticket to receive your tastes. Each participating restaurant will mark your ticket when you receive your taste. YOU MUST HAVE YOUR CARD TO RECEIVE YOUR TASTES.
IF YOU PAID FOR A TICKET THAT INCLUDES BEVERAGE SAMPLING, you will receive a BEVERAGE WRIST BAND. PER ABC RULES, you must be wearing a wristband to receive alcoholic beverages.
TASTE MAP
The map shows all of the taste stops, the sip stops, the trolley stops, the restrooms and the live music locations.

TASTE BUSES
Taste Buses will be making a continuous loop throughout the downtown. Step on - step off. It couldn't be easier to get your Taste of Oceanside! The seven bus stops are marked on your map. We sincerely apologize that we were unable to secure handicapped accessible transportation for this year's event.

UTENSILS: Our sponsor Green Oceanside will be providing a souvenir metal spork to each ticket holder. This will eliminate over 28,000 plastic utensils from being added to our local landfill! (One complimentary spork per ticket please - extra sporks will be on sale for $5.00.)

RESTROOMS: There will be portable restrooms available for use during the event at the parking lot at Pier View Way and North Tremont Street. This is marked on the taste map with this symbol:
Other restroom facilities may be open throughout the venue at the discretion of the businesses.
KIDS: A reduced price child's ticket is not available. Parents are welcome to share their "tastes" with their children.
STROLLERS: Trolleys can accommodate strollers but they must be folding and will be stored up front with the conductor on space available basis. Strollers in the aisle ways would constitute a safety hazard.
DOGS: Since most of the tastings this year will be inside the businesses, we recommend that you leave your canine friends at home. Dogs will not be allowed on the Taste Trolley.
Online ticket sales will end at midnight on Friday, October 1st
or until sold out. THIS EVENT WILL SELL OUT!
The Taste of Oceanside is proud to partner with the
North County Food Bank for this year's event.
A portion of the proceeds from each ticket sold
will be donated to the North County Food Bank.
YOUR FOOD DONATIONS WILL HELP!
Taste of Oceanside attendees are asked to
bring nonperishable food items to donate
to the North County Food Bank.
All food donations will benefit
individuals and families in need in
North County communities.
The Food Bank's "most needed" items include:
Canned meats
Canned fish
Canned vegetables
Canned fruit
Canned soup
Peanut butter
Cereal
Oatmeal
Dry beans
Donation bins will be set up at the
Taste of Oceanside check-in area at the Oceanside Civic Center Plaza.
