There aren't any visible sweet potatoes at LeRoy's Sweet Potato Shack at the Sunset Market on Thursday evenings in downtown Oceanside.

But that doesn't mean there isn't the goodness of sweet potatoes in the products sold. Bryan Moore, co-founder, says, “sweet-potato cakes and pies are definitely our specialty.”

What the “shack” offers is “country-style baking from scratch,” including sweet-potato cake, pie, cobbler, cheesecake and cookies.

Every week LeRoy’s Sweet Potato Shack is at the sunset market with many of their specialties. Get there early, because some of the more popular options sell out!

Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Leroy Bolden learned to cook at the young age of 12. As his mother worked to support the family, Leroy became the family cook.

It was clear to all the women in the neighborhood that Leroy loved to bake. They shared with him their personal family recipes and baking tips to get the right taste, texture, and moisture in his baked goods. With LeRoy’s Sweet Potato Shack LeRoy is proud to carry on the secrets and traditions these lovely women shared with him.

Born in Alabama, Bryan Moore remembers the goodness of the sweet potato pies of his youth, even though his parents brought him to Southern California when he was a youngster his family continued to make family recipes. Like Leroy, Bryan learned to cook southern home-made recipes at an early age and was eager to learn more about southern baking from Leroy.

LeRoy’s Sweet Potato Shack offers a wide variety of homemade goodies. Some of the cakes they make include key lime, “7-Up pound,” regular pound, red-velvet, lemon, chocolate, yellow, carrot, and peanut butter. They make fruit, pecan, and bean pies. Cobblers come in apple, peach, cherry and blackberry. Cookies include chocolate chip, spice, and oatmeal butterscotch. Their cheesecakes are defined as thinner, thick, and thicker.

LeRoy's also makes cupcakes and sheet cakes for special occasions. You can order from their full menu of options on LeRoy's online www.sweetpotatoshack.com or call 760-722-2690.

Nicely structured, this post makes it easy for readers to stay focused and absorb the information. The tone feels natural and informative. I recently came across a similar discussion on a review blog that included https://usvacuums.com/ in a non promotional way, which made for an interesting comparison. Your approach to explaining the topic is very effective.
